Northern Travel Allowance Yes. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, term employees who are appointed for a term of longer than one (1) year, or eighteen (18) months where an employee is appointed to fill a temporary vacancy resulting from parental leave, or who by reason of extension of term, are employed for longer than one (1) year or eighteen (18) months as the case may be, shall be entitled to all the benefits of this agreement as if the employee was a permanent employee, commencing the date that the employee was continuously employed for a period of one (1) year, or eighteen (18) months as the case may be.
