Notwithstanding s. 21.1.2, lecturers are eligible to apply for research/study leaves, pursuant to s. 21.3.1, after completing at least the initial six (6) years of full-time service.
Notwithstanding s. 21.8.1 above, once a return date from sick leave is established, a Member may apply in writing to the xxxx/director with a request to use the credits equivalent to the untaken portion of the research/study or administrative leave and to take the missed portion of the research/study leave or administrative leave following his/her return.
Notwithstanding s. 10.2(1) this Settlement Agreement may be referred to or offered as evidence in order to obtain the orders or directions from the Courts contemplated by this Settlement Agreement, in a proceeding to approve and/or enforce this Settlement Agreement, to defend against the assertion of Released Claims, as may be necessary, or as otherwise required by law.
Notwithstanding s. 33.9, where a Faculty Member is being considered for Promotion to Associate Teaching Professor or Teaching Professor, one of the referees may hold an academic appointment at the University.
Notwithstanding s. 11, for eligible part-time Employees who elect upon completion of the necessary enrolment forms to participate in the plan, the Employer shall pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the premium amount of the Dental Care Plan. The Employee shall pay the remainder of the premium cost.
Notwithstanding s. 14.4, the Parties may seek any additional advice or pursue any alternate means of dispute resolution.
Notwithstanding s. 2.3, the Consultant designates, and will provide and make available the services of, Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxx to perform the Consultant's Services, and represents and warrants that Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxx have the required skills and experience to perform the services and to exercise the responsibilities required of the Consultant under this Agreement.
Notwithstanding s. 21, for eligible part-time Employees who elect upon completion of the necessary enrolment forms to participate in the plan, the Employer shall contribute one hundred percent (100%) of the premium of the first thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) of Group Life Insurance coverage amount, plus seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of coverage amount elected by the plan member over the first thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) up to the plan maximum indicated in S.20.
Notwithstanding s. 21.5.7, an eligible Member may apply for and may be granted a half administrative leave and either a half research/study leave or a full research/study of six (6) months’ duration in immediate succession, provided that:
21.5.8.1 No other Member of the department is denied a research/study leave due to the application of s. 21.5.4.2 for the dates during which a Member is on leaves in immediate succession; and
21.5.8.2 The total leave period does not exceed one year.
Notwithstanding s. 5, for eligible part-time Employees who elect upon completion of the necessary enrolment forms to participate in the plan, the Employer shall pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the premium amount of the Semi-Private Hospital Care Plan. The Employee shall pay the remainder of the premium cost.
