OF THE CURRENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. 9 The Marysville School District (District) and Public School Employees (PSE or association) confirm the 10 following agreements related to the unprecedented COVID-19 virus outbreak: 12 Communication: 14 The District will continue to communicate on a regular basis with PSE leadership any updates related to 15 the safe operation of the District. Such updates will include notification of updates that come from the 16 Centers for Disease Control, Department of Health and Department of Social and Health Services, as well 17 as any other local, state or federal agency. 19 Additionally, the District will communicate to employees and union leaders the potential risk of exposure 20 or direct exposure by students or other employees when known by the District. Employees are 21 encouraged to communicate with the District regarding concerns around safety. 23 The district will also communicate with PSE regarding any changes in personnel, hours and schedules 24 and provide proper PPE for each employee working onsite.
OF THE CURRENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. The parties agree that circumstances have required that the District moves to a distance learning phase for students as a result of the nationwide pandemic COVID-19. Due to this extraordinary circumstance the parties agree to the following: • Pay and Benefits: Pay will be based on 4.5 hours per day. Employee benefits will continue to be administered through the SEBB program and SEBB program requirements and minimum thresholds will remain in effect in determining qualification for such benefits.

Due to this extraordinary circumstance the parties agree to the following: Workday: All employees will be expected to work on site unless they have an approved accommodation through Human Resources, or their building supervisor has made arrangements for alternate work locations to lessen capacity at a building in order to adhere to social distancing. If the alternate work location is on site, the employee will be given the essential equipment to complete their job assignment.

  • Mid-Term Bargaining Section 38.1. Subject to the specific rights retained by the Employer in this Agreement, the Employer recognizes its legal obligation under O.R.C. Chapter 4117 to bargain with the FOP prior to implementation of any changes in wages, hours, or other terms and conditions of employment applicable to members of the bargaining units. Prior to implementing new or changed work rules, policies, or other changes that materially affect wages, hours, or terms or conditions of employment of bargaining unit employees, the Employer will notify the Union seven (7) days in advance of the effective day of implementation. If the Union requests to bargain over such change within the notice period, the Employer and the Union will negotiate in good faith. If the Employer and the Union bargain to impasse, the parties may submit the issues to non-binding mediation. However, if the change is not a topic of bargaining under RC Chapter 4117, or in the case if the change is necessary due to exigent circumstances or a state or federal directive or regulation, the Employer is not required to give a seven (7) day notice or to bargain over the implementation of the change; however, the Employer may elect to do so if time permits, without waiving its rights.
