Common use of Officer Leave Clause in Contracts

Officer Leave. Leave without pay shall be granted, when required, to any Association member 37 who shall have been elected or appointed to a position in the National Education Association, 38 Washington Education Association, or the WEA-Riverside UniServ Council. The employee shall 39 notify the Superintendent of the need for leave upon verification of his/her election or 40 appointment to that position. Leave shall be for the duration of time in that office, either 41 continuous or on a daily basis, depending on the nature of the position.
