Operational Shifts. A. Corrections personnel not assigned to the support staff will be permanently assigned to either the three squad (red, blue, and xxxxx) work schedules of 7-2, 8-4 or the two (2) squad (blue and gold in effect as of the time and date of this agreement) work schedule 4- 5, 5-4, 5-5 (operational shifts). The structure of the permanent shifts will consist of three, eight-hour work periods with an attendant fifteen minute roll call. The shift starting times for operational shifts will be 6:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m. for the eight (8) hour shift and 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the twelve (12) hour shift. However, in times of declared emergency, the Employer reserves the right to adjust the permanent shift structure as necessary to meet organizational needs, including ten-hour shifts and various shift start times.

Operational Shifts. A. The structure of the permanent shifts will consist of three, eight-hour work periods with an attendant fifteen- minute roll call. Shift starting times will be set at the sole discretion of the Employer. However, the employer agrees that any change to an entire watch start time that would affect shift differential must be mutually agreed by the FOP and Employer. Employees shall be notified of any change to their permanent shift starting time at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the change being implemented. The thirty (30) day notification can be waived if both parties agree. However, in times of declared emergency, the Employer reserves the right to adjust the permanent shift structure as necessary to meet organizational needs, including ten-hour shifts and various shift start times.
Operational Shifts. The facilities are to be operated generally in one shift. i.e. general shift. However based on the need during campaign periods, apart from general shift certain facilities are to be operated in 1st, 2nd or both the shifts (by splitting the workforce allotted to two shifts. Refer Clause No.1.5.6).

  • Additional Shifts 32.1 The Employer is committed to maximising its permanent workforce in line with its occupancy levels. The Employer will always offer additional shifts in the first instance to its permanent part-time staff where practicable. It will then offer additional shifts to its casual or bank staff, where applicable.

  • Extra Shifts Where an employee agrees to work or is required by the Employer to work a shift(s) or portion thereof, in excess of the employee’s scheduled work week, the employee will receive pay at the rate of one and one‐half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate for such excess hours worked, with a minimum of three (3) hours at the rate of one and one‐half (1½) times the employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Broken Shifts (a) An employee may agree to work broken shifts at any time; however an employee may be required to work broken shifts in the following circumstances:

  • International Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • Operational Control Directing the operation of the Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control to maintain these facilities in a reliable state, as defined by the Reliability Rules. The ISO shall approve operational decisions concerning these facilities, made by each Transmission Owner before the Transmission Owner implements those decisions. In accordance with ISO Procedures, the ISO shall direct each Transmission Owner to take certain actions to restore the system to the Normal State. Operational Control includes security monitoring, adjustment of generation and transmission resources, coordination and approval of changes in transmission status for maintenance, determination of changes in transmission status for reliability, coordination with other Control Areas, voltage reductions and Load Shedding, except that each Transmission Owner continues to physically operate and maintain its facilities.
