Other Legislated Leaves. Members will be entitled to other leaves on an unpaid or paid basis in accordance with applicable legislation. Members can consult with Human Resources for information related to the leaves available.

Other Legislated Leaves. A member may apply in writing through Service Canada for one of the legislated leaves provided they meet the requirements for the leave type as outlined in the Employment Standards Act. In each instance, a member who intends to take one of the leaves must inform the employer in writing that they will be taking such leave and provide the Director of Human Resources with a written plan that indicates the weeks in which they will take the leave. Human Resources will provide the member with assistance in completing the necessary forms.
Other Legislated Leaves. Employees are entitled to access Personal Emergency Leave and Family Medical Leave in accordance with The Employment Standards Act of Ontario as amended from time to time.

  • Applicable Legislation If and to the extent that any provision of this Agreement limits, qualifies or conflicts with a mandatory requirement of Applicable Legislation, the mandatory requirement will prevail. The Corporation and the Subscription Receipt Agent each will at all times in relation to this Agreement and any action to be taken hereunder observe and comply with and be entitled to the benefits of Applicable Legislation.

  • Other Leaves Other short-term leaves may be granted at the discretion of the Chancellor. The Chancellor’s decision to approve or deny the request shall be final.

  • Compliance with Money Laundering Legislation The Rights Agent shall retain the right not to act and shall not be liable for refusing to act if, due to a lack of information or for any other reason whatsoever, the Rights Agent reasonably determines that such an act might cause it to be in non-compliance with any applicable anti-money laundering or anti-terrorist legislation, regulation or guideline. Further, should the Rights Agent reasonably determine at any time that its acting under this Agreement has resulted in it being in non-compliance with any applicable anti-money laundering or anti-terrorist legislation, regulation or guideline, then it shall have the right to resign on 10 days' written notice to the Corporation, provided: (i) that the Rights Agent's written notice shall describe the circumstances of such non-compliance; and (ii) that if such circumstances are rectified to the Rights Agent's satisfaction within such 10-day period, then such resignation shall not be effective.

  • Other Leave Granting of leave is a matter between the employees and the mill management. The Company will consider length of service and will endeavour to arrange leave of absence to suit the employee's wishes. Employees with ten or more years service will be given special consideration.
