Other Staff Benefits. A Full-time or Regular Part-time Employee shall continue to participate in the group life insurance, long term disability insurance, pension plan and may continue the dental plan, voluntary group term life insurance, voluntary personal accident insurance and Blue Cross major medical plan. The Employee's portion of the applicable premiums and pension contributions would be deducted from the Supplementary Employment Benefit payments made by the University up to a maximum of seventeen (17) weeks. Although eligibility for long term disability benefits is maintained, benefit payments will not be made during the term of the pregnancy leave.

  • Education Benefits Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 5, academic staff members who qualify for benefits in accordance with Article 23.5.2.1 may take a credit, or non-credit language class offered by the University provided it does not interfere with performance of duties as determined by the Xxxx. The member and the Xxxx may discuss ways in which duties may be reassigned to make it possible for the member to take the class.   • Integration of Benefits If you are disabled, the monthly payments under this plan will be reduced by the amount of any Periodic Payments you are entitled to apply for and receive with respect to the disability under any Workplace Safety & Insurance Act, the Canada Pension Plan or the Quebec Pension Plan. The amounts deducted will not include any additional benefits payable for children or subsequent cost of living increases.

  • Death Benefits Upon the Executive's death during the Contract Period, his estate shall not be entitled to any further benefits under this Agreement.
