Common use of Overtime Computation Clause in Contracts

Overtime Computation. All scheduled time worked in excess of eight/seven (8/7) hours in any one (1) day shall be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1 ½) times the basic hourly rate of the employee. Employees shall be compensated at twice the basic hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of four (4) overtime hours in a tour of duty. 14.3.1 The Company will use its best efforts to assign overtime in an equitable manner. However, any valid claim of inequitable distribution shall result only in an employee’s entitlement to the next opportunity to perform scheduled overtime that they are qualified to perform.
