Overtime on Weekend. A full-time employee will receive time and one-half (1-1/2) her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on a third and subsequent consecutive weekend save and except where: (i) such weekend has been worked by the employee to satisfy specific days off requested by such employee, or (ii) such employee has requested weekend work, or (iii) such weekend is worked as the result of an exchange of shifts with another employee and which exchange has been approved by the supervisor.

Overtime on Weekend. This clause is applicable to Full-time employees only. (i) Such weekend has been worked by the employee to satisfy specific days off requested by such employee; or (ii) Such employee has requested weekend work; or (iii) Such weekend is worked as a result of an exchange of shifts with another employee.
Overtime on Weekend. A regular part-time employee will receive time and one-half (I her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on a third and subsequent consecutive weekend save and except, where: Such weekend has been worked by the employee to satisfy specific days off requested by such employee; or such employee has requested weekend work; or such weekend is worked as a result of an exchange of shifts with another employee. Schedules will normally be posted for a four (4) week period two (2) weeks in advance of their effective date. No employee will have a scheduled shift changed without prior verbal notification. Employees may be allowed to exchange shifts. Where two (2) or more employees wish to exchange shifts they must submit a written request to their Department Head or designate. The granting of the request will be at the sole discretion of the Department Head or designate. Overtime payment will not be paid to any employees that may be affected by such exchange of shifts. Employees who report for work at the starting time of their scheduled shift, save and except employees who are scheduled for four (4) hours or less, not having previously been advised not to report, shall be guaranteed at least four (4) hours of work or, if no work is available, shall be paid for at least four (4) hours time, at the employee's applicable straight time hourly rate of pay. Employees who are scheduled for four (4) hours or less will be guaranteed one-half of their scheduled hours. This provision shall not apply in the following circumstances:

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Holidays Double time the regular rate for work on the following holiday(s). New Year's Day

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Overtime Pay ‌ Overtime pay shall be paid to the employee on the next paycheque after the expiration of the pay period in which the overtime was earned except as provided in Article 16.6 (Compensating Time Off) below.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate. 9.3.2. A full-time employee who works other than a Monday through Friday schedule and who is not scheduled to work on a calendar holiday shall be given at the discretion of the Employer (1) another scheduled workday off with pay, or (2) an additional day's pay at his/her regular rate if funds are available.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
