Paid Leave for Employees. (a) For the purposes of this Article, a “day’s paid leave” shall be equivalent to the number of hours in a shift that the employee is regularly scheduled to work (i.e. 6- hour shifts = 6 hours paid leave; 7.5 hour shifts = 7.5 hours paid leave; 8 hour shifts = 8 hours paid leave).
