Parenting Leave for Birth or Adoption. A Employee is entitled to leave of up to eighteen (18) months in connection with the birth or adoption of a child, during which time seniority and service-related benefit entitlements (i.e. vacation) shall continue to accrue. During parenting leaves, the normal vacation carryover and payout provisions in Articles 21.3 and 21.4 apply. Subject to Article 28.2, this leave will be unpaid.
