PART MONTH PAYMENTS AND DEDUCTIONS. B.23.1. The daily salary of a teacher shall be calculated by dividing the annual salary of the teacher in effect for that period by two hundred (200). B.23.2. For any teacher, except a teacher teaching on call, commencing employment after the first day of the school year, the salary payment at the end of the first teaching month shall be calculated on the basis of the number of days taught at the daily salary of the teacher to a maximum of 1/10 of the annual salary. Thereafter the teacher shall be paid on scale for each full month. B.23.3. For any teachers leaving before the last teaching day in a month, adjustment for days absent in the month shall be on the basis of the daily salary of the teacher. B.23.4. The rate of deduction for a day without pay shall be the daily salary of the teacher except as specifically provided for elsewhere in this agreement.
PART MONTH PAYMENTS AND DEDUCTIONS. 1. The rate of deduction for a day without pay shall be defined as one two-hundredth (1/200) of the current rate of annual salary of the teacher. 2. A teacher shall be paid one tenth (1/10) of current annual salary in respect of each month in which the teacher works all prescribed school days that month. 3. In the event that a teacher commences work on a day other than the first prescribed school day that month, or terminates on a day other than the last prescribed school day in that month, the formula for payment for that month shall be the greater of the following amounts: a. One twentieth (1/20) of regular monthly salary for each day taught or b. Full regular monthly salary less one twentieth (1/20) of the salary for each day not taught.
