Common use of Pay Shortages Clause in Contracts

Pay Shortages. Proven pay shortages of less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) shall be paid with the next regular payroll. Proven pay shortages of greater than two hundred dollars ($200.00) shall be paid by Wednesday of the week following the payroll, if proof of the error is presented by the employee in a timely manner to ensure receipt in Payroll by noon on Tuesday. The District will incur a penalty of twenty dollars ($20.00) per day, up to a maximum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), if it does not comply with these deadlines.
