Paycheck Shortages. In the event of a verifiable and agreed upon paycheck shortage of at least one hundred ($100.00) dollars, the Associate shall be provided reimbursement for the shortage within two working days (Mon - Fri) of the report to the Company of such paycheck shortage except in cases where the shortage was caused by the Associate (such as failure to punch in or out or provide required documentation). Shortages of less than one hundred ($100.00) dollars, or shortages caused by the Associate, will be reimbursed in the following paycheck.
Paycheck Shortages. ‌ 1. All questions regarding shortages on an employee’s paycheck should first be addressed with the appropriate Care Center Manager. 2. The appropriate Care Center Manager shall be responsible for coordinating the resolution of the shortage identified by the employee. 3. Shortages of more than eight hours shall be corrected within two business days after the day such notice was given to the appropriate Care Center Manager. Except that the Medical Center will not issue a separate check if the employee caused the shortage by failing to properly record time. 4. Shortages of eight hours or less shall be corrected by the next regular scheduled payday provided the shortage is brought to the attention of the appropriate Care Center Manager prior to the submission of the next time and attendance records. 5. If a nurse does not receive a paycheck when due on payday, regardless of cause, a check will be issued before the close of business provided the appropriate Care Center Manager is informed before 10:00 am on that payday. 6. If the appropriate Care Center Manager is notified after 10:00 am on payday, a check will be issued on the next business day in which the payroll department is open.

  • Cash Shortages No employee may be required to make up cash register shortages unless he or she is given the privilege of checking the money and daily receipts upon starting and completing the work shift, and unless the employee has exclusive access to the cash register during the work shift and unless cash is balanced daily, except as specified below. No employee may be required to make up register shortages when Management exercises the right to open the register during the employee's work shift, unless the register is opened in the presence of the employee and the employee is given the opportunity to verify all withdrawals and/or deposits. No employee shall be held responsible for cash shortages unless he or she has exclusive access to his or her cash.

  • Excess Contributions An excess contribution is any amount that is contributed to your IRA that exceeds the amount that you are eligible to contribute. If the excess is not corrected timely, an additional penalty tax of six percent will be imposed upon the excess amount. The procedure for correcting an excess is determined by the timeliness of the correction as identified below.

  • Casual Labour 19.1.1 A casual employee is an employee employed on an occasional basis and whose work pattern is not regular and systematic. When a person is engaged for casual employment the employee will be informed in writing that the employee is to be employed as a casual, the job to be performed, the classification level, the actual or likely length of engagement including number of hours to be worked per week, and the relevant rate of pay. 19.1.2 A casual employee shall be entitled to all the applicable rates and conditions of employment prescribed in this Agreement except annual leave, personal leave, parental leave, jury service and public holidays. 19.1.3 On each occasion a casual employee is required to attend work the employee shall be entitled to payment for a minimum of four hours work plus the relevant fares and travel allowance. 19.1.4 A casual employee for working ordinary hours shall be paid 125 percent of the hourly rate prescribed in this Agreement for the employees’ classification. 19.1.5 A casual employee required to work overtime or weekend shall be entitled to the relevant penalty rates prescribed in this Agreement provided that: Where the relevant penalty rate is time and a half the employee shall be paid 175 percent of the hourly rate prescribed in this Agreement for the employee’s classification and where the relevant penalty rate is double time the employee shall be paid 225 percent of the hourly rate prescribed in this Agreement for the employee's classification. 19.1.6 A casual employee required to work on a public holiday shall be paid 275 percent of the hourly rate prescribed in this Agreement for the employee's classification. 19.1.7 Termination of all casual employment shall require one hours notice on either side or the payment or forfeiture of one hours pay, as the case may be.

  • Recurring Instalment Payments 15.1 Where you have a Citibank ATM/Debit Card which allows you to make Card Transactions: (a) if you use your Citibank ATM/Debit Card to purchase goods or services by instalments or to make payments on a recurring basis, you thereby authorize us to pay such instalments for you as they become due and debit the amount paid by us from the Designated Account or any other Account; (b) if your right to use your Citibank ATM/Debit Card is suspended or the Designated Account is closed, we may at our option and without prejudice to any of our rights and remedies, stop paying the said instalments for you, or debit the aggregate sum of the remaining instalments to the Designated Account or any other Account or require you to pay the same forthwith. 15.2 You also agree to be bound by any other specific terms and conditions governing such recurring/instalment payment scheme. In the event of conflict, such specific terms and conditions are to prevail over the provisions of this Condition 15 but only to the extent necessary to give full effect to those terms and conditions.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.
