Payment for Judiciary Holidays. (APR 2013) On judiciary holidays, on-site contractors are not entitled to compensation unless: (1) the contract requires the contractor to be on-site at the judiciary facility during the holiday; (2) the contract specifically provides for compensation to the contractor on judiciary holidays; or (3) the contractor obtains approval from the contracting officer or designated contracting officer's representative (COR) to perform work at an off-site location. The following holidays are observed by the judiciary: New Year's Day, Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., Presidential Inauguration Day (metropolitan DC area only), Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.   • Payment for Holidays (a) Regular Employees Regular employees shall not have their pay reduced by virtue of holidays specified in Article 16.01.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment for leave (a) Payment will be made based on the number of ordinary hours the Employee would have worked on the day or days on which the leave was taken.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) The holidays listed in the part-time local Appendix for the purposes of Article 16.03(b) shall be the same holidays as are listed in the full-time Local Provisions Appendix. If an employee is required to work on any of the holidays set out in the local Appendix the employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) her regular straight time hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on such holiday.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
