Payment in Lieu of Insurance. Employees who provide satisfactory proof of alternative coverage in a non‐Town health insurance plan may elect to forgo the Town insurance plan for which they eligible and may receive a cash payment of $57.69 per week ($115.38 per pay period). This payment shall be added to the employee’s regular wages and is subject to withholding of taxes. However, this income is not eligible for increased wage base credit for contribution to the NH Retirement System. A married couple who are both employed by the Town or an employee under age 26 whose parent is employed by the town are not eligible for the cash payment in lieu of insurance.

Payment in Lieu of Insurance. Should an employee elect to decline insurance coverage as provided in this Article, the employee may receive a payment in lieu of coverage pursuant to the program offered for other union and non-union employees of the Employer.
Payment in Lieu of Insurance. In the event an employee elects not to participate in the District’s health insurance plan, the Board shall contribute a maximum of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500) into the employee’s 403(b) plan account with a vendor approved for use under the District’s 403(b) plan. The District will make these payments in installments payable on the District’s regular payroll schedule. An employee must be employed by the District at the time of the particular installment payment in order to receive it, and the District will provide a pro-rated payment amount based on the number of days worked to employees that begin or separate their employment between payroll dates. The District will provide the Union with a list of approved vendors for the 403(b) account.
Payment in Lieu of Insurance. In the event two or more bargaining unit members decline the health insurance benefit provided pursuant to this agreement, each member of the bargaining unit that declines such health insurance shall be paid the amount of $1,200.00 in lieu of said health insurance for each year the bargaining unit member declines the said health insurance. The $1,200.00 payment shall be made in September of the school year succeeding the school year for which the said insurance was declined.
