Payment of Accrued annual leave entitlement upon termination An Employee, who, upon retirement, resignation or termination of employment, has an outstanding annual leave entitlement, will be paid an amount equal to the unused annual leave entitlement and any unpaid annual leave allowance. Any annual leave Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2016 allowance payable pursuant to this clause 41.5 shall be calculated in accordance with clause 41.4.

Payment of Accrued. Leaves Employees who are placed on layoff may request, subject to approval by the Employer, to receive payment for earned but unused vacation, holidays, and/or compensatory time. Such request must be made prior to the effective date of layoff. Employees who do not request payment for earned but unused time shall receive payment for such time either at the time of layoff or at the conclusion of twelve
Payment of Accrued. Compensatory Time at Separation Upon separation from employment, employees shall be paid for their accrued, but unused compensatory time. In the event of any employee’s death, such accrued, but unused, compensatory time shall be paid to the employee’s surviving spouse or estate.

Payment of Accrued but unused sick leave will be made to each County employee (with five years or more of service) upon disability or service retirement under the Public Employees Retirement System from active service with any employment in County Government. The amount of payment will be 40% of accrued but unused sick leave but in no event will payment be made for more than 90 days. Payment for sick leave on this basis shall be considered to eliminate all sick leave credit accrued by the employee at the time. Such payment shall be made only once to any employee.
Payment of Accrued annual Leave Entitlement on Relocation: Those employees currently on afternoon shift or night shift who have accrued annual leave and whose shift is affected as a result of relocation (shift changed within 18 months of relocation anniversary) will be paid the difference between the shift rate annual leave entitlement and day rate annual leave entitlement as a one off payment. The annual leave accrued entitlement will not change until leave is taken.
