Performance and Development Review. 9.1 Employees will be required to participate in periodic performance, training and development reviews in order to assess their performance and alignment with the company's values, and to identify any training and development requirements as assessed against the business need for gaining such skills. All employees and Supervisors will receive training and skills coaching in how to undertake the Performance and Development Review Process to ensure there is consistency and integrity in the process. 9.2 Each employee will receive an annual end-of-year performance review rating effective as at 30 June as follows: 1 Does Not Achieve Expectations. Has not met most expectations, resulting in a neutral or negative impact on the business or people. Has not delivered most KPIs during the year despite the opportunity to deliver with no constraining circumstances. Displays behaviours that are not aligned with Our Charter Values in Action. Performance Improvement Plan must be implemented. 2 Partially Achieves Expectations. Met most of the performance expectations and delivered on most KPIs. Demonstrated Our Charter Values in Action. There is potential to improve performance and/or develop in demonstrating Our Charter Values in Action in the following year. Could be less than 6 months with BHP Billiton or newly promoted to role. 3 Fully Achieves Expectations. Consistently performed, met expectations and achieved all of the KPIs, resulting in a positive business impact. Regularly and reliably demonstrates behaviour consistent with Our Charter Values in Action. Could be overachieving on some KPIs, and on balance meeting expectations for KPIs.
Performance and Development Review. The parties agree that assessing employee performance and developing appropriate training programs is important. All employees will be reviewed at least annually using the Chubb Performance and Development Review Forms . Employees will be encouraged to provide input to this process regarding their own performance and proposed development programs. Should an employee feel at any time during this appraisal that the Supervisor is not being fair and objective, then the employee can raise the matter with the Manager. If the issue is not resolved, it will be dealt with under the Dispute Resolution procedure.
Performance and Development Review. The parties recognise the importance of assessing employees’ performance and developing appropriate training programs. All employees will be reviewed at least annually. Employees are encouraged to actively participate in the process, which will be fair, objective and transparent. An employee who is concerned about any aspect of the process may raise those concerns with the relevant manager, and may choose to be represented in the process.

  • Training and Development 3.1 Authorities will develop local 'Workforce Development Plans (see Part 4.8),' closely linked to their service delivery plans, which will provide the focus for the establishment of training and development priorities. Training and development should be designed to meet the corporate and service needs of authorities both current and in the future, taking into account the individual needs of employees. Local schemes on training and development should enable authorities to attain their strategic objectives through development of their employees. Training and development provisions should be shaped to local requirements and take account of the full range of learning methods. Such an approach should enable access to learning for all employees. The needs of part time employees and shift workers need particular consideration. 3.2 Employees attending or undertaking required training are entitled to payment of normal earnings; all prescribed fees and other relevant expenses arising. Employees are also entitled to paid leave for the purpose of sitting for required examinations. When attending training courses outside contracted daily hours, part-time employees should be paid on the same basis as full- time employees. (Assistance for other forms of learning, for example that directed at individual development, will be locally determined). Some training can be very expensive and authorities may require repayment of all or part of the costs incurred should an employee leave the authority before a reasonable time period has expired. The authority's policy in this regard should be made explicit. 3.3 Objectives for training and development programmes should include the following: • To enable Councils to attain their strategic objectives via investment in their employees. • To promote equity of access to learning. • To encourage employees to develop their skills and level of responsibility to the maximum of their individual potential. • To widen and modernise the skills profile of employees to maximise their versatility, employability and so, job security. • To enable employees to raise productivity, quality and customer service in pursuit of sustainable improvement 3.4 Authorities should establish local partnership arrangements, to include recognised trade unions, to develop their local workforce development plans. 3.5 The NJC endorses partnership provision such as the "Return to Learn" scheme. Authorities and the recognised trade unions shall encourage and support employees taking on the statutory Union Learning Representative (ULR) role. This will include agreeing facilities and paid release in accordance with statutory provisions. ULRs should be enabled to play a full part in promoting and implementing local training and development programmes.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK

  • Creation and Development Fee If the Prospectus related to a Trust specifies a creation and development fee, the Trustee shall, on or immediately after the end of the initial offering period, withdraw from the Capital Account, an amount equal to the unpaid creation and development fee as of such date and credit such amount to a special non-Trust account designated by the Depositor out of which the creation and development fee will be distributed to the Depositor (the "Creation and Development Account"). The creation and development fee is the per unit amount specified in the Prospectus for the Trust. (16) Article III is hereby amended by adding the following section:

The strategic plan shall establish objectives for the Bank's overall risk profile, earnings performance, growth, balance sheet mix, off-balance sheet activities, liability structure, capital adequacy, reduction in the volume of nonperforming assets, product line development and market segments that the Bank intends to promote or develop, together with strategies to achieve those objectives and, at a minimum, include: (a) a mission statement that forms the framework for the establishment of strategic goals and objectives; (b) an assessment of the Bank's present and future operating environment; (c) the development of strategic goals and objectives to be accomplished over the short and long term; (d) an identification of the Bank’s present and future product lines (assets and liabilities) that will be utilized to accomplish the strategic goals and objectives established in (1 )(c) of this Article; (e) an evaluation of the Bank's internal operations, staffing requirements, board and management information systems and policies and procedures for their adequacy and contribution to the accomplishment of the goals and objectives developed under (1)(c) of this Article; (f) a management employment and succession program to promote the retention and continuity of capable management; (g) product line development and market segments that the Bank intends to promote or develop; (h) an action plan to improve bank earnings and accomplish identified strategic goals and objectives, including individual responsibilities, accountability and specific time frames; (i) a financial forecast to include projections for major balance sheet and income statement accounts and desired financial ratios over the period covered by the strategic plan; (j) control systems to mitigate risks associated with planned new products, growth, or any proposed changes in the Bank’s operating environment; (k) specific plans to establish responsibilities and accountability for the strategic planning process, new products, growth goals, or proposed changes in the Bank’s operating environment; and (l) systems to monitor the Bank’s progress in meeting the plan’s goals and objectives. (2) Upon adoption, a copy of the plan shall be forwarded to the Assistant Deputy Comptroller for review and prior written determination of no supervisory objection. Upon receiving a determination of no supervisory objection from the Assistant Deputy Comptroller, the Bank shall implement and adhere to the strategic plan. (3) The Board shall ensure that the Bank has processes, personnel, and control systems to ensure implementation of and adherence to the plan developed pursuant to this Article.
