Performance Bonus Differentials. Effective, August 1, 2021 ninety dollars ($90) per month: • 50% for safety and performance • 50% for attendance The employment (school year) commences on July 1 and ends June 30 the following calendar year. Employee hired prior to January 1 in the school year will be entitled to the Board approved salary increase on the wage schedule effective July 1 of the following school year. Drivers transferring to an Aide position shall maintain the level of experience previously granted for wage purposes. During scheduled safety meetings and the in-service meeting days, drivers shall be paid at the regular rate for a minimum of one (1) hour. Drivers shall be eligible to receive a monthly bonus differential of which 50% is for attendance and 50% for safety and performance. The bonus differential is payable for ten (10) months (11 months if working full ESY for the previous school year) and paid at the end of the fiscal year. Paid time that is requested and approved with at least two (2) days' notice will not impact the driver's attendance bonus differential. Attendance is defined as reporting as required and clocking in on time. Drivers that have no safety violations or write-ups in a defined month shall be eligible for the safety incentive provided they work at least 50% of their schedule during the month. In the case of the regular school year, the portions of August and June shall be considered on (1) month. Drivers will be eligible to receive an additional five hundred dollar ($500) differential payment if they meet the requirements for the Performance Differential for all months throughout the entirety of the school year, which will be paid on the last payroll of the school year. In the case of the extended school year (ESY summer session), such period of time shall be considered one (1) month.
