Common use of Personal Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Personal Sick Leave. Upon employment, employees become eligible for fifteen (15) sick leave days to be used in case of personal illness during the first (1) year in the system. Commencing with the second (2) year, an additional sick leave allowance of fifteen (15) days will be granted each year. Unused sick leave days are cumulative but shall never exceed one hundred eighty (180) days. Sick leave for employees working less than forty (40) hours per week will be prorated based on their schedule.
