Phase IV Final Design. Artist shall have sixty (60) days following City’s approval of the Preliminary Design to submit a Final Design for review and approval by the City. The Final Design shall have a stamped approval of structural integrity by a professional engineer – or another relevant expert – certified or licensed to practice in Colorado. The Final Design shall include a definition of the type of materials and equipment to be used, a full set of design documents, – including the plaque design created according to the specifications outlined in Exhibit D – a budget related to the Work and a tentative fabrication and installation schedule. Artist shall include all estimated costs for design, execution, fabrication, insurance, permitting, contingencies, consultant fees, and any other costs associated with the Work to be approved by the City. The Final Design shall also include a written statement detailing anticipated regular and routine maintenance, in accordance with Section 5.A. The total budget for completion of the Project, including the work under this Agreement and the work in the forthcoming Successor Contract shall not exceed Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($2,5000,000.00). Upon review, the Director may request material changes to the Work, such as scope, design, color, size, material, or texture. If such changes are required, Artist shall have sixty (60) days to submit an amended Final Design. Upon final acceptance by the City, the Final Design cannot be materially changed. The City shall, in its sole discretion, determine whether material changes exist. The Final Design shall be incorporated herein as Exhibit E.

  • Final Design A.4.1. Provide OWNER with proposed final construction drawings and detailed opinions of probable total Project construction costs in writing for OWNER' s review, prior to completion of the final Contract Documents, so that any changes that may be necessary in accordance with Project' s budgetary schedule can be made prior to bid.

  • Commencement of Final Design This contract does not obligate the State to proceed with final design for any alternative. On completion of environmental documentation, the State will consider all reasonable alternatives in a fair and objective manner. Such Notice to Proceed will not be issued until the Director is assured that the Recipient has complied with all requirements for the approval of a grant under Revised Code Sections 164.20 through 164.27 and has completed any land acquisition required by the Project. A Notice to Proceed shall be required for all Project prime contractors or direct procurement initiated by the Recipient following execution of this Agreement.
