Placement in New Position. A successful internal applicant shall normally be placed in a new position within sixty (60) days of their appointment. If such placement does not occur within the sixty (60) day period due to operational requirements, the successful applicant will receive the higher rate of pay, where applicable, effective the forty-sixth (46th) day.

Placement in New Position. Should the successful candidate be chosen from the existing staff, the candidate shall normally be placed in a new position within thirty (30) calendar days of the Employee’s acceptance, or other date mutually agreed, regardless of the Employee’s current position.
