Plant, Materials and Workmanship Sample Clauses
The 'Plant, Materials and Workmanship' clause sets standards and requirements for the quality and suitability of all equipment, materials, and labor used in a construction project. It typically requires that all materials and equipment supplied meet specified standards or approvals, and that all work is performed with proper skill and care. For example, it may mandate that only new and undamaged materials are used, or that workmanship complies with industry best practices. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the finished project meets the expected quality and durability, reducing the risk of defects and disputes over substandard work.
