The information shared will be the incidents of Domestic Violence or Abuse reported to Suffolk Constabulary (SC), where there are school age children within the family. The objective of this information sharing is to alert professionals to incidents which can be detrimental to a child’s overall welfare and may contribute to greater safeguarding concerns. With relevant background knowledge, professionals will be better placed to identify and provide appropriate resources to address the welfare, safeguarding and child protection (CP) concerns.
