Post Notice of Vacancy. Where a job vacancy occurs, or a new job is created which the Employer fills or intends to fill, it shall post a notice of such vacancy on all bulletin boards within ten (10) calendar days. Such posting shall be for a minimum of period of seven (7) calendar days, and a copy of the notice shall be sent to the Union. The notice shall set out a description of the job, the qualifications required of applicants for the job, the hours of work (shift) and the wage rate for the job. Any employee who is absent at the time a posting occurs, and who has made a request in writing prior to such absence, shall be considered for job postings occurring during the period of such absence.

Post Notice of Vacancy. A vacancy in a bargaining unit job shall be posted for seven (7) calendar days where it is an initial vacancy. Subsequent vacancies created as the result of the posting of an initial vacancy shall only be posted for four (4) calendar days. The posting shall stipulate the qualifications, classification, rate of pay and department concerned.
