PREGNANCY DISABILITY AND CHILD CARE LEAVE. The intent of this section is to follow the requirements of the laws that pertain to pregnancy and childbirth. If these laws are amended, the District shall comply with the laws’ requirements as amended.

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Leave for pregnancy or childbirth related disability is in addition to any leave granted under FMLA or WFLA.

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) - An employee is eligible for continuation of MPS in accordance with applicable law.

  • Pregnancy Leave (a) Pregnancy leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.

  • Child Care Leave (a) An employee who is the natural or adoptive parent shall be granted, upon request in writing, child care leave without pay for a period of up to thirty-seven (37) weeks.
