Principal Advisory Committee is a standing committee at each school site composed of at least two teachers, two parents, two support staff and one student who meet regularly to advise the principal on management of the school. The groups they represent must select all members. Employee representation by all staff by subject/grade level.

Principal Advisory Committee. A Principal's Advisory Committee shall be established in each building. The committee will be composed of the building administrator and/or and up to three (3) members of the association appointed by the association president. A meeting of this committee can be called by any representative of the committee. Dates of the meetings are to be determined by the committee.
Principal Advisory Committee. There will be established in each building of the Amherst, the Pelham and the Amherst- Pelham Regional School Districts, a Principal Advisory Committee, broadly representative of the staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and clerical/media staff, together with representatives of building administration. The specific composition of each Advisory Committee will be determined at the building level, by collaborative agreement between the Principal and the Association representatives at the building, provided that: the Committee shall be broadly representative of the building staff. Representatives of the teaching and other staff must be chosen by secret ballot election, supervised annually by the building Association representatives or their designees during the first two (2) weeks of the school year. The Advisory Committee will then select a facilitator, who will be a building administrator, but who will otherwise be a member of the Advisory Committee. At the option of the Advisory Committee, the facilitator position may rotate among members of the Committee. These Advisory Committees will meet on a regular basis. The agenda will be set and posted in advance of the meetings. Any member of the staff may submit agenda items on any issue to the facilitator, and any member of the staff or of the Advisory Committee may make a presentation on any issue to the full Advisory Committee. The Principal will have his/her permanent agenda item(s) and will facilitate that portion of the meeting. Committee members will review each issue with their represented constituencies, and report back to the Committee before any action is taken on any proposal. All decisions shall be made by consensus, defined as agreement that all participants have been fully heard and can accept the proposed decision as the best option possible under the circumstances. The Advisory Committee will be an advisory body only, drawing upon the professional capabilities and experience of the staff of the Amherst, the Amherst-Pelham and the Pelham Schools, and providing two-way feedback on all educational and building matter. The Advisory Committee will be without authority to modify provisions of this collective bargaining agreement, or School Committee policy, although it may make recommendations to the parties to this contract, and it shall be without power to modify state or federal law or regulation.   • FISCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE Recognizing the value of Union input on behalf of employees, the parties agree to the following:

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. The Recipient shall: • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member.   • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:

  • Audit Committee (A) The Audit Committee shall be composed of five members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members, none of whom shall be an officer of the Company, and shall hold office at the pleasure of the Board.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement.
