Prior City Service. When fire recruits, who were City or Dayton Fire Department employees prior to assignment to the Fire Training Academy, are appointed to the position of sworn firefighter, they will move to the step rate of pay that is closest to, but higher than, their current rate of pay. The employee will progress through the contractual wage steps in accordance with the time frames dictated in the wage addenda.

Prior City Service. When the City hires new fire recruits, who were City or Dayton Fire Department employees, or who were sworn firefighters with another employer, the newly hired fire recruits will move to the step rate of pay that is closest to, but higher than, their current rate of pay. The employee will progress through the contractual wage steps in accordance with the time frames dictated in the wage addenda. When the City hires new EMT and Paramedic personnel, who were City employees, or who were EMT or Paramedic personnel with another employer, the newly hired EMTs or Paramedics will move to the step rate of pay that is closest to, but higher than, their current rate of pay. If the external is paid higher than our current pay rate, they will be moved to the top step of the pay band. The employee will progress through the contractual wage steps in accordance with the time frames dictated in the wage addenda. This language will apply if an external paramedic is hired as a City EMT.

Prior City Service. When police recruits, who were City employees prior to assignment to the Police Academy, are appointed to the position of sworn police officer, they will move to the step rate of pay that is closest to, but higher than, their current rate of pay. They will remain at this step for the period of time that it would ordinarily take to progress to the succeeding step had they started at Step 1. Only after the standard time elapses will they then graduate to the next step and continue through the step process in the time table described in Addendum 1 (e.g. a newly appointed officer who is started at Step 4 would not proceed to Step 5 until 3 ½ years had passed).

  • CLOUD SERVICE The Cloud Service offering, is described below and is specified in an Order Document for the selected entitled offerings. The Order Document will consist of the Quotation that is provided and the Proof of Entitlement (XxX) you will receive confirming the start date and term of the Cloud Services and when invoicing will commence.

  • Community Service Service to the wider community includes active participation in a wide variety of governmental, societal and community institutions, programs and services, where such participation is based on the candidate’s academic or professional expertise.

  • Maternity Services Your benefits for maternity services are the same as your benefits for any other condition and are available whether you have Individual Coverage or Family Coverage. Benefits will be provided for delivery charges and for any of the pre­ viously described Covered Services when rendered in connection with pregnancy. Benefits will be provided for any treatment of an illness, injury, congenital defect, birth abnormality or a premature birth from the moment of the birth up to the first 31 days, thereafter, you must add the newborn child to your Family Coverage.   • Water Service The Purchase Price for the Property shall include all water rights/water shares, if any, that are the legal source for Seller’s current culinary water service and irrigation water service, if any, to the Property. The water rights/water shares will be conveyed or otherwise transferred to Buyer at Closing by applicable deed or legal instruments. The following water rights/water shares, if applicable, are specifically excluded from this sale:

  • Breaks 16.1 Two separate ten-minute tea breaks (in addition to meal breaks) shall be allowed each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more; where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked employees shall be allowed one 10-minute tea break in each four-hour period.   • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • Station Service Seller shall be responsible for arranging and obtaining, at its sole risk and expense, any station service required by the Facility that is not provided by the Facility itself.
