Any teacher who is a member of the Association or who has applied for membership may sign and deliver to the District Office an assignment authorizing deduction of membership dues in the Association, the NEA and the IEA. Such authorization shall continue in effect from year to year unless revoked in writing at any time by a teacher. Pursuant to such authorization, the District Office shall deduct 1/22nd of such dues from the salary check of the teacher for 22 pay periods with the first deduction in September and ending in June of each school year. Deductions for teachers employed after the commencement of the school year shall be so pro-rated as to complete payments by the following June.
