Professional Training and Expense Benefits. All fulltime employees covered by this agreement shall be allowed and encouraged to attend Criminal Justice courses and other College-level courses that relate to the overall field of Public Safety. Such courses may be taken at Xxxxxx College or any other institution of the employee’s choice, so long as such course work or training is pre-approved by the Chief of Police or their designee and does not interfere with the employee’s responsibilities to the College. pg. 24 Payment for tuition and fees related to such courses will be made upon submission of the appropriate reimbursement form and evidence indicating successful completion of the educational activity and shall come from an annual Professional Expense Benefit of nine hundred seventy-five dollars ($975) for the term of this agreement (7/1/2022- 6/30/2025) that shall be made available to each employee. Funds not spent for tuition, books and related charges shall be retained by the College.

A Police Officer may assign up to 100% of their training and expense benefits to another Police Officer with prior approval of the Chief of Police, not to exceed $1,950 per fiscal year. Related to Professional Training and Expense Benefits

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Training Benefits In the event that the Employer should introduce new methods or machines which require new or greater skills than are possessed by employees under the present method of operation, such employees shall, at the expense of the Employer, be given a reasonable period of time, in the opinion of the Employer, during which they may perfect or acquire the skills necessitated by the new method of operation. There shall be no change in wage or salary rates during the training period of any such employee.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Employee Training and Discipline Contractor agrees to advise its personnel who have access to Medi-Cal PII of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non-compliance contained in applicable Federal and State laws.
