Promotion of Non-Teaching Educators. ‌ (a) Commitment to Sound Policy of Promotion‌ The Board acknowledges a commitment to a professionally sound policy of promotion for NTEs based on professional progress and achievement. To this end, each year the Board will provide for the promotion of those full-time NTEs who are eligible and qualified for promotion to the extent that budgetary criteria permit. (b) Committee on NTE Promotion‌ A committee on NTE promotion will be established to advise the President and the Board in the development of decisions on promotion of NTEs. The committee shall consist of five members of the administrative staff. Two shall be elected by the ASC and three shall be appointed by the President of the College. The President of the College shall appoint the chair. No candidate for promotion shall serve on the committee during the period of his/her candidacy for promotion. (c) Procedures‌ Formal procedures for committee recommendations for promotion shall be made in accordance with procedures promulgated by the Board of Trustees. (d) Public Notice of Promotion‌ Notice of promotion shall be publicly announced within a reasonable time after the individuals concerned are notified.

Promotion of Non-Teaching Educators. (a) Commitment to Sound Policy of Promotion The Board acknowledges a commitment to a professionally sound policy of promotion for Non- Teaching Educators based on professional progress, Professional Development Reports (PDR), contribution to the college and/or achievement. To this end, each year the Board will provide for the promotion of those full-time Non-Teaching Educators who are eligible and qualified for promotion to the extent that budgetary criteria permit. (b) Granting Promotional Increments Non-Teaching Educators who have met the minimum qualifications for a given group will be eligible to be considered for a promotional increment according to the guidelines described in Appendix I.

  • NON-TEACHING DUTIES The Board and the Association acknowledge that a teacher's primary responsibility is to teach, and that his/her energies should be utilized to this end. It is agreed that teachers will be relieved of non-teaching duties to the extent possible and practical through the use of non-teaching personnel to perform clerical-type tasks and supervise playgrounds and lunchrooms.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:

  • Resident Educator A Resident Educator is a teacher employed under a resident educator license.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK

  • Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.

  • Orally Administered Anticancer Medication In accordance with RIGL § 27-20-67, prescription drug coverage for orally administered anticancer medications is provided at a level no less favorable than coverage for intravenously administered or injected cancer medications covered under your medical benefit.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher
