Protective Services. An individual who meets the criteria for the target population may be referred to in this Attachment as an “eligible individual.”

Protective Services. (8.3, 8.4, and 8.5): These services include protection for clients who are isolated and homebound due to health conditions; who suffer from depression and other psychological problems; individuals who have been harmed, or threatened with harm (physical or mental) by other persons or by their own actions; or those whose cognitive functioning is impaired to the extent they require assistance and support in making and carrying out decisions regarding personal finances.

The local police department and the county prosecutor s office are available on request and, subject to the availability of resources, to provide protective services to any victim or potential victim of a hate crime. The police department and the prosecutor s office agree to take such steps as are necessary and appropriate in the circumstances to prevent further violence or harm committed against a victim, or to prevent a violent retaliation or any other physical or psychological harm directed against any student or any person. The responding law enforcement officer shall evaluate the circumstances of the suspected or confirmed hate crime or bias-related act and shall immediately report to his or her superiors the need for providing any such protective services to or on behalf of any victim or potential victim.
Protective Services. 1.2.1. The State is responsible for safeguarding State owned and leased assets, while providing a secure environment for visitors and State agencies to conduct business.
1.2.2. In accordance with TCA § 4-3-2019, FPOs perform an exceptionally crucial role in support of the State’s missions and are typically the first contact for visitors within a State facility. In this exceedingly visible role, FPOs serve as a vital defense-in-depth measure. Contractors must realize the magnitude of its responsibility and continuously perform its duties in a courteous and professional manner, in full compliance with this Contract.
