Public Affairs. The Employer recognizes the right of an Employee to participate in public affairs. An Employee who accepts nomination for federal, provincial, or municipal office shall notify the Employer forthwith and shall be granted leave without pay from the date of his nomination or the date of issue of the election writ (whichever is later) until the election results are official. An Employee may request that the President waive all or part of this leave requirement. Such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Public Affairs. The Public Affairs sector renders to THE PARTIES the services of management of the public affairs related to the Company’s businesses.
Public Affairs. NWS will conduct all public affairs activities for on-site emergencies. EMS will refer all requests for information to the Station Manager at ( ) - - .
Public Affairs a. Due to the sensitive nature of the sub- ject matter, there will not be a media release in connection with AFDCB meetings. How- ever, any AFDCB proceeding, which is open to the public, will also be open to representa- tives of the news media. Representatives of the news media will be considered observers, and will not participate in matters consid- ered by the AFDCB. Members of the news media may be invited to participate in an advisory status in coordination with the public affairs office.
b. News media interviews and releases will be handled through the public affairs office according to applicable Service parts.
Public Affairs. As this work is or may have a high visibility, it is important that the same message be delivered to all stakeholders, including the public. Therefore, the parties agree that all releases of information related to this CRADA, to include press releases, shall be reviewed and approved by the USAMRMC PAO prior to release.
Public Affairs. 1. The Subcontractor must cooperate with the Department and Buyer in releasing unclassified information to the public and news media regarding DOE policies, programs, and activities relating to its effort under the Subcontract. The responsibilities under this clause must be accomplished through coordination with the Contracting Officer, Xxxxx and appropriate DOE public affairs personnel in accordance with procedures defined by the Contracting Officer.
2. The Subcontractor's internal procedures must ensure that all releases of information to the public and news media are coordinated through, and approved by, a management official at an appropriate level within the Subcontractor as well as Buyer’s organization.
3. The Subcontractor must comply with DOE procedures for obtaining advance clearances on oral, written, and audio/visual informational material prepared for public dissemination or use.
4. Unless prohibited by law, and in accordance with procedures defined by the Contracting Officer and Buyer, the Subcontractor must notify the Contracting Officer and Buyer of communications or contacts with Members of Congress relating to the effort performed under the Subcontract.
5. The Subcontractor must notify the Contracting Officer and Buyer of activities or situations that may attract regional or national news media attention and of non-routine inquiries from national news media relating to the effort performed under the Subcontract.
6. In releases of information to the public and news media, the Subcontractor must fully and accurately identify the Subcontractor's relationship to the Department and Buyer and fully and accurately credit the Department for its role in funding programs and projects resulting in scientific, technical, and other achievements.

Public Affairs. The Employer recognizes the rights of the employees to participate in public affairs. Therefore, upon written request, the Employer shall grant leave of absence for a period not to exceed three (3) months for employees who are candidates in a federal, provincial or municipal election.
Public Affairs. Counter drug support can generate considerable news media interest, and though important for the public to be informed, safety/security concerns dictate restraint in publicizing Guard participation in counter-drug operations.
a. News media requests to accompany Guard members on anti-drug operations will be coordinated with the Adjutant General; ATTN: Plans, Operations, Military Support Office (POMSO) (000) 000-0000. Further coordination with the Adjutant General; ATTN: Public Affairs Office (PAO) (217) 785- 3567 is required. Final approval will be given by the national Guard Bureau, Public Affairs (NGB-PA) and The Adjutant General-Illinois.
b. News releases will be the responsibility of the supported civil law enforcement agency and coordinated with NGB-PA prior to release.
c. Freedom of Information requests on anti-drug support operations will be coordinated through the National Guard Freedom of Information/Privacy Act Officer and referred to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), U.S. Department of Justice.
