Purpose and Content of Position Descriptions. The purpose of a position description is to describe officially, for pay and classification purposes, the predominant skills and duties particular to a position. The Employer will maintain written, accurate and numbered position descriptions for all positions and will provide to each employee a copy of his/her position description, including those employees on classified details in excess of ninety (90) days. A position description need not list every duty an employee may be assigned, but usually reflects only those major duties that are regular and recurring, as well as series and grade controlling. If a term such as “other duties as assigned” or its equivalent is used, it will normally refer to other incidental work assignments or tasks that are reasonably related to the functions performed by the Agency. However, this will not preclude the Employer from assigning unrelated work to an employee on an irregular basis when determined to be in the Government’s best interest. Regardless of the content of a position description, nothing in this Article or Agreement will affect the statutory right of the Employer to assign work. Work assignments of an employee may be changed at any time, provided such actions do not unjustly prejudice an employee’s pending classification appeal.

Global Direct will provide Merchant with the ability to access the Networks that Global Direct has connected to for the purpose of authorizing debit card transactions at the point of sale from cards issued by the members of the respective Networks. Global Direct will provide connection to such Networks, terminal applications, settlement and reporting activities. EBT Transaction Processing Services: Global Direct offers electronic interfaces to Electronic Benefits Transfer (“EBT”) networks for the processing of cash payments or credits to or for the benefit of benefit recipients (“Recipients”). Global Direct will provide settlement and switching services for various Point of Sale transactions initiated through Merchant for the authorization of the issuance of the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services (“FNS”) food stamp benefits (“FS Benefits”) and/or government delivered cash assistance benefits (“Cash Benefits, ”with FS Benefits, “Benefits”) to Recipients through the use of a state-issued card (“EBT Card”). With respect to Visa and MasterCard products, Merchant agrees to pay and Merchant's account(s) will be charged pursuant to Section 5 of this Agreement for any additional fees incurred as a result of Merchant's subsequent acceptance of transactions with any Visa or MasterCard product that it has not elected to accept.

  • Position Description The employee shall be responsible for drafting his/her position description form and shall forward it to his/her supervisor for approval. When the employee and the supervisor disagree on the job description, they shall meet promptly and attempt to reach an agreement on the employee's job duties. In the event that an agreement cannot be reached, the supervisor will finalize the job description in accordance with the supervisor's understanding and expectations of the position. To provide equally effective alternate access, alternates are not required to produce the identical result or level of achievement for persons with and without disabilities, but must afford persons with disabilities equal opportunity to obtain the same result, to gain the same benefit, or to reach the same level of achievement, in the most integrated setting appropriate to the person’s needs. b) The Plan for New Content must include sufficient quality assurance procedures, backed by adequate personnel and financial resources, for full implementation. This provision also applies to the School’s online content and functionality developed by, maintained by, or offered through a third-party vendor or by using open sources. c) Within thirty (30) days of receiving OCR’s approval of the Plan for New Content, the School will officially adopt, and fully implement the amended policies and procedures.

  • SERVICE LEVEL DESCRIPTION The Fund Accounting Agreement is hereby amended by deleting the Service Level Description attached thereto and replacing it in its entirety with the Service Level Description attached hereto.

  • PURPOSE AND IMPLEMENTATION This Umbrella Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or "Umbrella Agreement") shall be for the purpose of collaborative research, development, and testing opportunities on various topics of mutual interest to enable advanced understanding of aeronautics, science, and space systems research and development and to provide workforce development in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while furthering NASA’s research and development goals. The Parties shall execute one (1) Annex Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Annex") concurrently with this Umbrella Agreement. The Parties may execute subsequent Annexes under this Umbrella Agreement consistent with the purpose and terms of this Umbrella Agreement. This Umbrella Agreement shall govern all Annexes executed hereunder; no Annex shall amend this Umbrella Agreement. Each Annex will detail the specific purpose of the proposed activity, responsibilities, schedule and milestones, and any personnel, property, or facilities to be utilized under the task. This Umbrella Agreement takes precedence over any Annexes. In the event of a conflict between the Umbrella Agreement and any Annex concerning the meaning of its provisions, and the rights, obligations and remedies of the Parties, the Umbrella Agreement is controlling.
