Qualifying for Holiday Pay. (a) In order that a Regular Employee may qualify for holiday benefits the Employee must have worked the last scheduled shift prior to and the next scheduled shift following the holiday or have been on paid leave on either or both of those scheduled shifts.

(a) In order that a Regular Employee may qualify To be eligible for holiday benefits the Employee pay, an employee must have worked the on his last scheduled shift work day prior to his scheduled holiday and the his next scheduled shift following work day after the holiday, unless such absence is approved. An employee on general leave pursuant to Article 22.06 is not entitled to holiday or have been on paid leave on either or both of those scheduled shiftspay.
