Rack Jobbers. The Employer and Union agree that the current practice of in-store merchandising by outside vendors or salespersons shall continue. There shall be no increase to the number of rack jobbers used by the Employer.
Rack Jobbers. Salespersons handling bakery specialties products (if merchandise is carried in the truck). The term "Salespersons" handling bakery specialties products is meant to be similar in concept to the term "Rack Jobber" and covers such operators as Xxx. Xxxxxxx'x and Rotary Pies, but neither the term "Rack Jobber" nor the term "Salespersons" of bakery specialties products is considered to mean bread driver salespersons such as Weston's, Mother Xxxxxxx'x or Venice. However, it is permissible for Driver Salespersons of these companies to stock sweetgoods products such as butterhorns, cakes, doughnuts, etc., providing such products are carried with them in their trucks.
Rack Jobbers. There shall be no Rack Jobbers in any New Store. For Rack Jobbers to be permitted in Existing Stores: a) Items must be stocked on a rack. b) Items cannot be pre-ordered. c) Orders cannot be drop-shipped. d) Xxxxxx must own the rack. e) Product cannot be normally carried by the Employer. Upon achieving the target ratios of fifty/fifty (50/50) in any store, the Employer shall not allow Rack Jobbers to perform any work in that store. Such work shall be performed by members of the Contract Area. Not withstanding the above, it is agreed that the current practice (as at ratification-1997 (November 23, 1997)) of Rack Jobbers in the stores shall continue. However, new Rack Jobbers must follow the definition set out above.
Rack Jobbers current practice will continue. (For example, bread drivers, chip drivers and pop merchandisers continuing to fill their respective products. Inventory and janitorial crews already in place) A list will be provided of the Current Rack Jobbers. All new work will be performed by Bargaining Unit staff.

Rack Jobbers. Salespersons handling commercial bakery products, potato chips and other snack foods carried on the truck of the supplier personnel. This above exclusion is restricted to the following suppliers: McGavins, Westons, Old Dutch and Hostess. This provision does not prevent the Employer from changing suppliers, but the total number of suppliers cannot exceed four (4). The suppliers are permitted to stock their products on store shelves and other merchandising tables. The Company agrees that the above will not result in a reduction of hours for any employee on payroll at date of ratification 2000. It is agreed that the current practice of beverage suppliers (i.e., Coca Cola and Pepsi products) will continue, whereby on their delivery days they can unload and merchandise their respective products.

Rack JobbersThe parties agree that the following companies currently qualify as rack jobbers in Saskatoon: Coca-Cola and Pepsi in coolers and by express, Voortman Cookies, Rustcraft/Carlton Cards, Star Phoenix, Leader Post, Old Dutch and Hostess in checkstand racks and checkstand baskets. Cube racks may be filled on a one-time basis, by the supplier. The parties further agree that the letter of November 4, 1987 from Xxx Xxxxxx to Xxxx Xxxxxxxxxx will be deemed as the agreed definition of rack jobber. Any additions of companies currently not supplying product to stores to the list during the term of the Collective Agreement must be mutually agreed between the parties. Such agreement will not be unreasonably withheld. LETTER #10 TRAINING HOURS NOT INCLUDED IN MOST AVAILABLE HOURS Training hours assigned under a human resources training code are not considered as available hours under the Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that the presence of training hours in the department will not result in the reduction of regular hours to regular employees in that department. The current level of hours assigned skills training is as follows: TRAINING HOUR ALLOCATIONS‌ DEPARTMENT HOURS ALLOCATED‌ Orientation‌ 4 Hours Courtesy Clerk 4 Hours Bakery (Experienced) 16 Hours Cake Decorator 16 Hours Meat (Experienced) 8 Hours Floral 12 Hours Produce 12 Hours Grocery 20 Hours‌ Training Assistant/PIC 8 Hours Deli 20 Hours‌ File Maintenance 16 Hours Cash Office 16 Hours Cashier 20 Hours‌ Back up Cashier 12 Hours Bakery Clean up 8 Hours Bakery Sales 8 Hours‌ Customer Service Clerk 8 Hours Kronos/SAP 4 Hours BDR 8 Hours Inventory Control 8 Hours Coffee Bar Operator 26 Hours Coffee Bar Server – Initial In Store 24 Hours The Employer has no plans at this time to increase the hours allocated for the above skills training. In the event any such change is contemplated the Employer will advise the Union in advance. It is the intent of both parties in good faith to reach agreement on any changes before implementation.
