Rate for Other Instructional Duties Not Otherwise Covered and Other Professional Services. $40.00 per hour of service. For services for instructional duties not otherwise covered, and professional academic services other than formal instruction, compensation for the quarter is based directly on the hours of assigned service. Services included in this category are as follows: (1) Library, (2) Student Services, (3) Special Office Hours, (4) Curriculum development, (5) Course planning and preparation, (6) Laboratory supervision, (7) Seminar supervision, (8) Independent study supervision, (9) Program coordination, (10) certain clinical supervision, and (11) Advising responsibility equivalent in nature to the type of advising and educational planning expected of full-time academic employees.

For services for instructional duties other than those outlined in section 4.81, compensation for the quarter is based directly on the hours of assigned service. Services included in this category are as follows:

(5) Laboratory supervision
(6) Seminar supervision
(7) Program coordination
(8) Certain clinical supervision
(9) Advising responsibility equivalent in nature to the type of advising and educational planning expected of full-time academic employees
(10) Anti-Bias Training
(11) EDI Training and consultant work
(12) Hiring committees
(13) Development and delivery of PD and other in-service activities
(14) Student inquiry groups (15) Work on federal, state, and local initiatives, such as grant writing. Participation in other instructional duties as described above is subject to the approval of the xxxx or management supervisor and availability of funds. Prior to engaging in other instructional duties, part-time faculty are encouraged to verify eligibility for compensation with the appropriate xxxx or management supervisor.
