Readiness and Response. SCDEM and Participating Jurisdictions will coordinate their emergency response activities to endeavor to minimize death, injury, and damages to property, the economy, and the environment during natural, technological or human- caused disasters. a. SCDEM will maintain a 24 hour per day Duty Officer, who will serve as the primary point of contact to address emergency management-related requests on behalf of Participating Jurisdictions. The Duty Officer will be available via direct cell phone number and via Snohomish County 911. b. As resources allow, SCDEM will utilize multiple means of communication to notify, warn, and/or provide information and instruction to the general public regarding impending or occurring disasters. c. SCDEM will maintain and, when necessary, activate the Snohomish County Emergency Operations Center (SCEOC) and implement the Snohomish County CEMP and applicable procedures. The SCEOC may activate in anticipation of, or immediately after, catastrophic incidents as defined by RCW 38.52.010(6). The SCEOC may also activate to provide support during pre-planned events or at the approved request of a Participating Jurisdiction. Requests to activate the SCEOC will be made via the Duty Officer to the SCDEM Director. The decision to activate the SCEOC, and at what level, is made by the SCDEM Director or the appropriate designee in the SCDEM line of succession. d. SCDEM will maintain and, when necessary, activate the Snohomish County Joint Information Center (SCJIC) and applicable procedures. The SCJIC may activate in anticipation of, or immediately after, disasters as defined by RCW 38.52.010(6). The SCJIC may also activate to provide support during pre-planned events or at the request of a Participating Jurisdiction. Requests to activate the SCJIC will be made via the Duty Officer to the SCDEM Director. The decision to activate the SCJIC, and at what level, is made by the SCDEM Director or the appropriate designee in the SCDEM line of succession e. When activated, the SCEOC will coordinate resource requests among affected jurisdictions within Snohomish County. The SCEOC will also make available the County’s emergency resources not required for use elsewhere during emergencies, the use of which shall be determined and prioritized by SCEOC. Readiness and Response. Fire and Emergency is the lead agency for all agreed readiness and response actions required to ensure the protection of life, property and the prevention of harm to the environment on public conservation land and additional land. The Department of Conservation will support Fire and Emergency in carrying out the agreed readiness and response actions set out in this agreement. Released under the Official Information Xxx 0000 The parties acknowledge that they are both persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) and must comply with the duties imposed on them by or under the Health and Safety at Work Xxx 0000. In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Xxx 0000, if more than one party has a duty in relation to the same matter imposed by, or under, the Health and Safety at Work Xxx 0000, each party with the duty must, so far as is reasonably practicable, consult, co- operate with, and co-ordinate activities with the other party who has a duty in relation to the same matter. Fire and Emergency will ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the safety of Department of Conservation personnel working under Fire and Emergency command and control. Fire and Emergency will consult with the Department of Conservation in setting its health and safety requirements for situations where Department of Conservation personnel are operating under Fire and Emergency command and control. When operating under Fire and Emergency command and control, Department of Conservation personnel will operate under Fire and Emergency’s health and safety requirements. Fire and Emergency will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that its own personnel (paid and volunteer) are prepared and able to work safely as firefighters on public conservation land. Both parties understand, that in situations where other PCBUs are present, those other PCBUs (e.g. land owners, forestry operators, contractors) share the same overlapping duties as the Department of Conservation and Fire and Emergency. These other PCBUs should also be included as part of the Incident Action Plan planning process. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Project Management Plan 3.2.1 Developer is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control activities necessary to manage the Work, including the Utility Adjustment Work. Developer shall undertake all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for the Project and Work in accordance with the approved Project Management Plan, Good Industry Practice and applicable Law. 3.2.2 Developer shall develop the Project Management Plan and its component parts, plans and other documentation in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 1.5.2.5

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • Bus Drivers A. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate per hour for driving in excess of four (4) hours per day on their regular route. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate while transporting students on another regular route during an emergency situation. B. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers $15.00 per hour for field trips. Field trips will be paid from the point where students are picked up to the point students are returned or the point when the driver returns to the pick-up location. C. The terms "field trips," "special trips," and "extra trips" shall henceforth be known as field trips. All non-walking field trips which are sponsored by the District, have been approved by the Superintendent, and are accompanied by an advisor/teacher shall be offered to regular drivers before they are offered to substitutes. Dropped trips or trips that arise within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled departure time can be filled with the first available driver. D. Each bus driver shall be paid for all time that is spent on their bus including deadhead, breakdown, maintenance time, layover time, and random drug and alcohol testing. E. All drivers may take their regularly assigned bus on short trips, however, longer trips shall be assigned at the discretion of the Transportation Department. F. The Board agrees to pay the cost up to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for costs incurred to any bus driver for physical, eye tests, or abstracts. G. At the beginning of each new school year, field trips shall be offered on a rotating basis from a driver rotation list, beginning with the most senior driver on the list. A bus driver who cancels a trip (non-emergency cancellation as determined by the supervisor) with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice shall miss their turn on the next two trip rotations. Drivers may elect to remove themselves from consideration for extra trips. If removed, drivers will remain so for the designated period of time that trips are bid or they may elect to remove themselves for the entire school year. H. The Board agrees to supply each bus with a broom and window cleaner, for the proper inside and outside cleaning of the bus. I. Mid-day preschool routes shall be offered, bid, and paid as part of drivers’ regular routes. J. All bus routes shall be bid with the most senior driver appointed, providing it is not excessive cost to the Board. K. If a driver takes a field trip he/she will only be deducted the actual morning or evening time from regular route. L. Nine (9) or more students shall be considered a field trip to be transported in a van, mini bus or regular bus, excluding trips by the multiple impaired students, History Day, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Vision Unit, commercial buses sponsored by a non- Board entity for football state playoffs, and all other regional and State sports events. M. The Board shall make available to all bus drivers a copy of the State Manual to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. N. The Board shall provide inservice education for all regular drivers employed the effective date of this Agreement to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. O. All bus drivers shall be required to meet all licensing requirements of the State of Ohio to be employed or to remain in the employment of the District. P. All bus drivers shall pass any drug testing requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio State Laws, and/or Federal Law governing the commercial licensing of all bus drivers. The cost of said required testing shall be borne by the Board. Q. The Board shall reimburse up to $44.75, once every (4) years, the cost of renewal of the Commercial Driver's License fee, upon submission of a fee receipt. R. The drivers who were grandfathered to drive their buses to and from home on their current routes as of 2001-2002 will remain grandfathered as long as they are drivers for the District, and remain on the same routes. All new drivers shall be subject to the approval of the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent on taking buses home. (See paragraph J.) In the event a bus driver authorized to take his/her bus home, including the grandfathered drivers, moves from his/her present residence, the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent shall determine whether the driver will be permitted to continue to drive his/her bus home. (See paragraph J.) S. Bus drivers who are required to plug bus heaters in at their residences shall be paid $1.50 per plug-in. T. The Board will pay for the cost of mandatory training to meet certification requirements.

  • Anesthesia Services This plan covers general and local anesthesia services received from an anesthesiologist when the surgical procedure is a covered healthcare service. This plan covers office visits or office consultations with an anesthesiologist when provided prior to a scheduled covered surgical procedure.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:
