Recall Disputes. If any employee on layoff status disputes his or her recall status 25 as reflected in Company records, Company records shall prevail unless rebutted by either (a) a 26 Company receipt, or (b) a properly addressed U.S. Postal Service return receipt evidencing filing of 27 the salaried payroll employment availability form (or letter) during the calendar period in question. 28

Recall Disputes. (a) In the event a placement involving a reduction and/or recall is disputed by the Union, it will be discussed with the Company. Should such informal method fail to resolve the issue in a timely manner, a grievance may be filed at the second step.
