Recall to Former Position. Employees shall be recalled to vacant positions within their former job titles and department in order of seniority. Employees will be eligible for such recall for one (1) year from the date of layoff. Employees who have extended their eligibility for participation in the layoff pool for one
Recall to Former Position. If the specific position formerly held by a laid off employee is reopened during that 12- month period, then that employee will be recalled to fill that position. This provision will also apply in situations in which the restored position has been reorganized, but retains substantially the same skills and duties as the former position. Employees on the recall list shall also be entitled to open positions that they previously held.
Recall to Former Position. An employee who does not hold a position as a result of a layoff, as defined in Article 18.01(b), shall be subject to recall and offered a vacancy within the same job title and Home and pre-layoff hours after the position has been posted and not filled. The employee shall be required to accept such recall in accordance with Article 16.01(e) of this Agreement.
Recall to Former Position. Employees will be recalled in seniority order within classification and position. An employee recalled to his/her former position shall receive the current rate of pay for such position.

An employee who assumes a lower grouped job under the terms of this Article shall be eligible for re-establishment in his original position, provided the position is re-established within two (2) years of the date of demotion and the employee's performance in the original and in the lower grouped job has been satisfactory.

If the employee fails to communicate receipt of a recall to employment or an offer of reemployment within ten (10) working days from the date of receipt of the notice or offer, the employee shall be considered as having forfeited recall rights.
Recall to Former Position. The Town shall notify the employee by registered mail (with a copy to the Union) that he/she is being recalled to work, stating the expected starting date. The employee shall have fifteen (15) days from the receipt of said recall to accept in writing. If the employee fails to respond or rejects the offer of recall, the employee shall lose all future recall rights.
