RECOGNITION, BARGAINING UNIT AND UNION SECURITY. 3.1 The Employer hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent relative to wages, hours and working conditions for its employees employed in the following operations: Department of Public Works and Utilities and Department of Planning and Land Services for the job classifications listed in Appendix "A," but excluding those employees represented by other labor organizations, supervisors, except for classifications specifically set forth in Appendix "A," Guards, Confidential Employees, and all others. Employees may choose to become a member of the Union at any time.

RECOGNITION, BARGAINING UNIT AND UNION SECURITY. 1.01 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agent for all employees coming under the terms of this Agreement. The Union recognizes D’Ambrosio & Associates as the sole bargaining agent for the Company.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, he shall retain his seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If such an employee returns to the bargaining unit within twelve (12) months, he shall be placed in a job consistent with his seniority. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.

  • Bargaining Unit The term "bargaining unit" as used in this Agreement refers to the bargaining unit defined in Article 1, Recognition.

  • Bargaining Agent Recognition The Employer recognizes the B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for all employees covered by the certification.

  • Bargaining Unit Information The Employer agrees to provide the Union such information relating to Employees in the bargaining unit as may be required by the Union for the purpose of collective bargaining.
