Recreation Day. 21.1 Employees shall be entitled to qualify for one day, (or two half days), recreational leave with pay each year, only after completion of 12 PRQWKseVrvi¶ce and thereafter on the anniversary of appointment each year.
21.2 If untaken during any particular leave year, the recreation holiday shall be cancelled, i.e., it may not be carried forward.
21.3 Employees resigning or retiring shall not be paid for any recreation holiday untaken at the date of resignation or retirement.
21.4 Where a rostered day off for a qualifying employee who regularly works five days per week falls on the recreation holiday, that employee shall be allowed a day offer in lieu at a mutually agreed date.
21.5 Where a qualifying employee works a normal duty on the recreation day the employee shall receive no additional payment but will be allowed a day off in lieu at a mutually agreed date. Where applicable, overtime will be paid in accordance with the provisions of (17.1)

Recreation Day. Each full-time and part-time Team Member with at least 6 months’ Service will be entitled to an additional day per calendar year which is to be known as their Recreation Day. This day: is non-cumulative from year to year; is an additional paid day off with additional penalty rates having no application; and is to be taken at a time mutually agreed by the Team Member and Bunnings. Such agreement should be confirmed at least 28 days in advance of the day being taken unless agreed otherwise. A Team Members request for this day shall not be unreasonably refused by Bunnings.
