Reimbursement of leave fares. (a) If you are an ongoing employee you and your eligible dependant/s will receive reimbursement of leave fares as provided for in Column 4 of Tables 5 and 6.

Reimbursement of leave fares. If you are an ongoing employee you and your eligible dependant/s will receive reimbursement of leave fares as provided for in Column 4 of Tables 1 and 2. Reimbursement will be up to the cost of an economy return airfare (best fare of the day) from your location to the nearest capital city or to another domestic location you and your eligible dependant/s travel to, whichever is the lesser. You can only accumulate a maximum of two unused leave fare reimbursements. If you are a non-ongoing employee, you and your eligible dependant/s may be eligible for reimbursement of leave fares at the completion of each period of service as specified in Column 4 of Table 1. Reimbursement for leave fares for non-ongoing employees will be approved provided there has been continuity of service, with no more than two months break in service between non-ongoing engagements in each period of service as specified in Column 4 of Table 1. As an alternative to reimbursement under this clause, the department will, with reasonable notice of your travel arrangements, book and pay for your economy airfares (best fare of the day) using our travel management system.

  • Commencement of Leave Parental leave must commence no later than the first anniversary date of the birth or adoption of the child or of the date on which the child comes into the actual care and custody of the employee. The employee will decide when his or her parental leave is to commence.

  • Amount of Leave An employee may be granted paid leave to attend defence forces reserves training programs or courses on the following basis: Service Annual Training School, class or course of instruction Navy 13 calendar days 13 calendar days Army 14 calendar days 14 calendar days Air Force 16 calendar days 16 calendar days

  • Other Leave with Pay The Employer may grant leave with pay for purposes other than those specified in this Agreement, including military or civil defence training, and emergencies affecting the community or place of work.

  • Extended Medical Leave A teacher who is unable to teach because of personal illness or disability and who has exhausted all available sick leave shall be granted leave for up to one (1) year. Any request for this leave must state the probable date of return and be accompanied by a verifying physician's statement. If the leave was granted as a result of a work related injury the employee may request and shall be granted a one (1) year extension of this leave. Before returning, such teacher must submit a physician's release. To be eligible for an extended medical leave of absence, an employee must have been actively employed on paid status with APS a minimum of one contract year immediately prior to the leave start date. All intermittent medical leaves will be addressed according to FMLA regulations.

  • Donor Leave An employee shall be granted the necessary leave of absence with pay for the purpose of donating bone marrow or an organ.
