Reinstatement Following Leave. All benefits to which a teacher was entitled at the time his/her leave of absence commenced, including unused accumulated sick leave, will be restored to him upon his/her return and he will be assigned to the same position which he held at the time said leave commenced, if available, or, if not, to a substantially equivalent position.
