Relationship to Annual and Sick Leave. An employee may request, and the Agency will consider granting, leave without pay even though his or her annual or sick leave balance has not been exhausted. Upon the request of an employee, an approved absence which would otherwise be charged to sick leave or annual leave may be converted to leave without pay at the discretion of NRC in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.

  • Compensation for Unused Sick Leave 1. Employees who enter County service after July 1, 1979, shall not be eligible for compensation for any of their unused sick leave credits.

  • Entitlement to Annual Leave For each year of service with the Employer a full-time or part-time Employee is entitled to four (4) weeks of paid annual leave.

  • Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.
