RELEASE TIME FOR ASSOCIATION MEETINGS. Unit members serving as delegates to the Representative Council of the Association, or as members of the Association’s Board of Directors, or as members and/or alternates of the Association’s bargaining team, shall be allowed to leave their respective buildings as soon as their responsibilities related to the health and welfare of the children are completed on those days when meetings of the Representative Council and the Board of Directors are regularly scheduled. The District shall release Child Development Center and Extended Day Magnet teachers who are elected to the Association’s Representative Council or Board of Directors in order to represent their constituents at these meetings by providing visiting teacher coverage, rearranging schedules, compensating another unit member providing coverage at the pro rata rate, or other appropriate action.

RELEASE TIME FOR ASSOCIATION MEETINGS. A. With the prior permission of the immediate supervisor, bargaining unit members who request release time may be released from duty after 3:30 P.M. without loss of compensation for the purpose of attending a maximum of ten (10) official meetings of the Association per school year. Permission shall be granted in the sole discretion of the supervisor if consistent with the needs of the District. Such permission will not be arbitrarily denied. Such release time shall not exceed a period of two (2) hours. Bargaining unit members on release time pursuant to this paragraph shall sign in and out in a log provided by the Association, which shall include the time of arrival and departure of the unit member. Such log shall be made available to the District by the Association upon request.

  • Association Meetings The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students’ school day.

  • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential.

  • Orientation Meeting Within thirty (30) calendar days from execution of the Contract, Vendor and Order Fulfillers will be required to attend an orientation meeting to discuss the content and procedures of the Contract to include reporting requirements. DIR, at its discretion, may waive the orientation requirement for Vendors who have previously held DIR contracts. The meeting will be held in the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference, at DIR’s discretion. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor or Order Fulfillers for attendance at the meeting.

  • Annual Meetings The Annual Meeting of Stockholders for the election of directors shall be held on such date and at such time as shall be designated from time to time by the Board of Directors. Any other proper business may be transacted at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

  • Special Meetings Special meetings of the Trustees may be held at any time and at any place designated in the call of the meeting when called by the President or the Treasurer or by two or more Trustees, sufficient notice thereof being given to each Trustee by the Secretary or an Assistant Secretary or by the officer or the Trustees calling the meeting.

  • Initial Meeting (a) The parties must meet within 10 Business Days after the date of delivery of the dispute notice and attempt to resolve the dispute.

  • Time Off for Meetings Any representative of the Union on this Committee, or their alternate, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the privilege of attending meetings of the Committee held within working hours without loss of remuneration, provided that the Senior Administrator has prior notice.
