Replacing or Repairing Unit Member’s Property. The District shall compensate unit members for documented loss or damage to personal equipment required to be used on the job during the performance of official duties.

Replacing or Repairing Unit Member’s Property. The District agrees to reimburse unit members for loss or damage to personal property required in the course of employment, but in no case shall the District pay for personal property not required. The reimbursement shall be at fair market value and shall be limited to a maximum of $100 per fiscal year. Loss or damage reimbursement shall only occur upon the following conditions:
Replacing or Repairing Unit Member’s Property. 7.20.1 The District shall, at its discretion, pay the cost of replacing or repairing property of a unit member, such as eyeglasses, hearing aids, dentures, watches, articles of clothing necessarily worn or carried by the unit member when such property is damaged in the line of duty without fault of the unit member or if such property is stolen from the unit member by robbery or theft while the unit member is in the line of duty. Replacing or repairing, or paying for such damaged or stolen property will be limited to damages or values exceeding $10.00, but not in excess of $200.00. The value of such property will be determined as of the time of damage thereto or the robbery or theft.
Replacing or Repairing Unit Member’s Property. The District 27 shall repair damaged personal property or, at its option, reimburse the unit member 28 for the reasonable value of personal property, excluding automotive vehicles and 29 clothing, used in the course of employment when all of the following conditions 30 have been met:

Prior approval shall be obtained from the School Administrator/Department Head, or the person appointed by him/her for this purpose, for use of personal vehicles in the line of duty. Such approval shall contain all information identifying the vehicle to be used: insurance coverage, including limits of coverage, insurance carrier, and the condition of the vehicle. Replacing or repairing or pay for such damaged or stolen property will be limited to damages or values exceeding $10.00, but not in excess of $200.00. Collision, theft of a vehicle or contents and damage to a vehicle resulting from actual theft are specifically excluded from this coverage. 7.21.3 In the event the unit member is paid the costs of replacing or repairing any such property, or the actual value of such property, the District shall, to the extent of such payments, be subrogated to any right of the unit member to recover compensation for such damaged property, in accordance with Education Code section 35176.
Replacing or Repairing Unit Member’s Property. The District shall repair damaged personal property or, at its option, reimburse the unit member for the reasonable value of personal property, excluding automotive vehicles and clothing, used in the course of employment when all of the following conditions have been met: 12.2.1 The unit member is required by management to use the personal property as a condition of continuing employment; 12.2.2 The unit member has registered the personal property in accordance with the prescribed procedures of the District;
