Reporting of Absences. d) In order to be eligible for the leave entitlement, an employee shall be required to satisfy the Employer of the validity of an illness resulting in an absence from work. Based on the employee’s frequency or pattern of illness during the preceding twelve (12) months, the Employer may require the employee to provide further explanation and/or documentation from the employee's attending physician.
