Requesting Extensions of Leave. An employee already on Director-approved leave as stated in this Section may request extensions of the original leave for a maximum of twelve (12) months. Employees must complete appropriate forms in order to request an extension of leave.

Requesting Extensions of Leave. A professional employee already on Superintendent-approved parental leave, educational improvement leave, recuperation of health leave or other sufficient reason leave may request extensions of the original leave for a maximum of twelve (12) months.
Requesting Extensions of Leave. ‌ A professional employee already on Director of Schools-approved parental leave, educational improvement leave, recuperation of health leave or other sufficient reason leave may request extensions of the original leave for a maximum of twelve (12) months with a 30-day notice. The Director of Schools may waive or reduce the 30-day notice.
