Required Time. To be fully compensated each employee must attend seven (7) hours, paid at the professional rate, of District approved professional development prior to May 31 and submit a timesheet. 26.5.1.1 District sponsored/approved training experiences, held in August in each year or other training experience designated by the District will qualify. 26.5.1.2 Employees may also apply for approval from the Teaching and Learning Department for alternate methods of meeting this requirement, such as individual or small group self-directed time, or other out-of-district training, etc. Application for approval of alternate methods must be submitted in writing to the Teaching and Learning Department at least ten (10) workdays in advance of the activity for consideration.

Required Time. Required Time will be defined as a vacancy that is required to be filled to maintain minimum staffing levels following the exhaustion of on-call personnel. Minimum staffing levels are set by the Director of Metro Communications Agency and will be maintained at all times. Job Classification Seniority shall be used to determine priorities for obtaining qualified volunteers, and requiring staff to work in order to maintain minimum staffing levels, so long as it does not impede the normal operation of the Agency.

  • Banked Time The implementation of these provisions shall not be considered to be a layoff. 8.

  • Released Time Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee(s) or an Association representative(s) be released from his/her regular assignment, upon request of the Association, he/she shall be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Extended Time An employee whose regular teaching contract has extended time added to it shall be compensated at his/her per diem rate in effect at the time the extended time is scheduled to be performed.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • Lead Time The Distributor shall submit purchase orders to AOS in accordance with a lead time of twenty-eight (28) to one hundred and twenty (120) days according to the schedule advised by AOS. In no event shall the lead time for Non-standard Products be less than two (2) months. AOS shall use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver units of Product at the times set forth in AOS’s written acceptances of the Distributor’s purchase orders.

  • Reassigned Time Each faculty member who coaches students for intercollegiate forensics competition shall receive at least two (2) credits reassignment time for each semester, in which he/she fulfills such responsibility.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time All employees who are called out and required to work in an emergency outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates and shall be paid from the time they leave home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly from work.

  • Make-up Time An employee may elect, with the consent of the employer, to work make-up time under which the employee takes time off during ordinary hours, and works those hours at a later time, during the spread of ordinary hours provided in the Agreement.
